This TV is all about picture quality with none of the other features like 3D and Smart Apps that you don't need. It's really thin, has a small bezel and looks great. I would tune the picture settings after you get it. That makes a surprisingly big difference in getting the picture to look really true to life. I used settings from lcdtvbuyingguide.com and they looked great. Here's how I have mine setup:
