So glad that Panasonic and Samsung decided to join the Universal 3D glasses consortium as it's now possible to buy one pair of 3D glasses that work with multiple brands of 3D TVs. We've tested these particular glasses with a Panasonic 2012 ST50 model (TC-P55ST50) as well as a 2012 Samsung plasma and they synced immediately and worked well. They also work with 2011 Samsung TVs but they will *NOT* work with 2011 Panasonic TVs, nor the Panasonic 3D projector (PT-AE7000U) as these use the older Panasonic IR 3D glasses.

If you use these on a Panasonic TV, you may notice very subtle differences between these and the Panasonic 3D glasses in terms of brightness and color saturation but I think most people would find these ones perfectly fine for 3D viewing. Considering the price difference (currently under $18 for these and a little over $50 for the least expensive Panasonic glasses), I'd say load up on these and put them in a bowl on the coffee table for guests, but maybe stash...
